Mission Statement

History

We are a multidisciplinary group of health professionals working to advance trauma-informed care across the continuum of practice through ground-breaking, transformative interprofessional education and research.

We meet monthly by video conference to share information and expertise on the 3rd Monday or Thursday (2-3p) Central Time of the week. ​

Our Trauma Informed Healthcare Education and Research (TIHCER) Collaborative has grown by word of mouth since its inception in January 2018. ​

Members

We have more than 200 members located in 31 states and 7 countries representing 34 undergraduate medical education and residency programs, 7 pediatric clinics and hospitals, 7 psychiatry and behavioral health departments, 6 national councils and organizations, 5 Veteran Affairs (VA), 3 specialty clinics, 3 social change networks, 2 Departments of Health and Human Services, and 1 human information technology corporation.
